Massage - a luxury or an urgent need?

Yes, it is a challenge and yes, sometimes it is really an art to balance between everything that happens to us in one day. But the decision is on us and in our hands is the power to create a more beautiful and peaceful life. This topic is much more extensive, but for a start - if we take an hour of massage time at least once a month, we will satisfy all three of the above-mentioned aspects. The body will relax because you will feel good you will be more relaxed and even if unpleasant emotions arise you will process them more easily. In the end, however, you are one step closer to getting in touch with yourself and starting to live a life that you will create for yourself and it will be exactly the way you have always wanted it but never believed it could be true. Is massage a luxury but you decide for yourself!

How do we live

We all know how fast our lives are, and how fast the days go by. Not only are we in a hurry somewhere most of the time, we are hunting for deadlines and deadlines, but the day is simply too short to do everything that is necessary, let alone what we want to do. However, when we are under constant stress, our body is also tense all the time and it is not necessary to be physically active or to do sports professionally to keep our muscles overloaded and cramped. If, on the other hand, we do not take the time to move, the result of such a lifestyle can quickly be severe pain or even injury.


How we feel

Of course, the emotions we experience also affect our physical well-being, not just mental. Even when we are afraid, we unconsciously contract certain muscle groups and if there are more or, such emotional states are repeated, our emotions are undoubtedly reflected on the body. The muscles are constricted again and there never gets to the point where they could relax.


As far as we are aware

The last and, in my opinion, the most important perspective in our lives is our awareness. Not just the awareness that my name is Maja and I am a masseuse and I am a mom. But awareness of every moment of the day. Every thought of mine, every emotion of mine, and every feeling of mine. Awareness of my own body and its responses and last but not least awareness of our words. Precisely because of the fast pace of life, we allow ourselves to prioritize obligations, and the consequence of such action is that we lose touch with ourselves. We are no longer aware that I am the one who is the master of my house and who can correct, help, decide how my life will go, but in the volcano of all obligations we let go of the flow of obligations that flood us and eventually alienate us from ourselves. When we lose that contact, then we no longer feel how our body shrinks when we are emotional and we don’t see how our body is under stress. We only see when pain or even illness occurs.
